Spring Classes 2010 at Happy Hollow

Tails for Tots:
(Ages 2-3 with an adult)
Discover the wonderful world of animals in this three-part class. Toddlers and their adults will be introduced to some of our incredible creatures through stories, songs, hands-on activities, games and by meeting live animals. Choose from two different topics or take both classes and receive a $10 discount per class! Each child must bring only one adult. Adults may accompany no more than two children. Please respect age restrictions and do not bring younger/older siblings to class. Classes are limited to 12 children.

Tails for Tots Topics:

• Down on the Zoo Farm:
  It’s springtime and the farm is buzzing with action. Come face to face with some of Happy Hollow’s barnyard buddies in the new “Double-H Ranch” and learn how people and animals help each other on the farm. Sign up for three consecutive Wednesday sessions for one low price - $75 members, $85 non-members.
  Classes are 9AM-10AM on April 14, 21 and 28.
• Zoo Babies:
  It’s not easy bringing up baby. There’s a lot of work for parents to do and a lot for babies to learn. We’ll pop out of pouches, fly out of nests and crawl out of burrows to discover what it takes to grow up wild. Sign up for three consecutive Wednesday sessions for one low price - $75 members, $85 non-members.
  Classes are 10:30AM-11:30AM on April 14, 21 and 28.

ZOOper Kids:
(Ages 3-4)
A wonderful way for your child to independently explore the world of animals in a safe, friendly environment. Topics for ZOOper Kids are designed as a three-part series. Children must be potty trained. Class size limited to 16 children.

ZOOper Kid Topic:

• Animals Like to Move It, Move It!:
  Crawl, slither, trot, or jump into the fun as we learn about the many ways animals move! Find out who are the fastest and slowest animals and join us as we “move it, move it” the animal way. Sign up for three consecutive Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday sessions for one low price - $85 members, $95 non-members.
  Tuesday classes are 9AM-11:30AM on May 11, 18 and 25.
  Wednesday classes are 9AM-11:30AM on May 12, 19 and 26.
  Thursday classes are 9AM-11:30AM on May 13, 20 and 27.

Registration Information for Classes & Camps:

To Register:

• Registration form for classes and camps.
• Registrations made less than 2 weeks in advance must pay in full at the time the registration form is received.
• Confirmation will be sent upon receipt of full payment and is subject to program availability.

Refund Policy:

• Refunds must be requested 2 weeks prior to the date of the program.
• A $10 administrative fee is retained for each cancellation.  Sorry, refunds for cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the start of your program cannot be granted.

Stay & Play:

• Groups wishing to visit Happy Hollow after class must purchase admission tickets.
• Please check with us on current parking fees.
• Reserve a picnic area for $40 or eat lunch on the grass in the Crooked House Meadow.
