Come celebrate your special event at Happy Hollow Park & Zoo.

Happy Hollow Park & Zoo offers a natural and whimsical escape for your special gatherings. From themed areas nestled in the bamboo forest by Danny the Dragon to right in the middle of the action by the Redwood Lookout play area. Happy Hollow now offers 10 party rental areas. Nine of the areas are outdoors and we now offer the unique and private indoor Learning L.O.D.G.E. for your celebrations!

Party Packages can now include exclusive Happy Hollow components:

  • A visit from Danny the Dragon (costume character) with a gift for the birthday child

Three Reservation Time Slots are available for Rent:

  • Slot 1: 10:00-12:00
  • Slot 2: 12:30-2:30
  • Slot 3: 3:00-5:00

Are you looking for private venue indoors or an animal adventure? Conveniently located near the front of the park, The Learning Lodge is for you.

Big Red Fire Truck:
At the Big Red Fire Truck party area, make your celebration a 5 alarm sensation. Nestled deep in the Five Point Forest, Big Red Fire Truck is centrally located to the Redwood Lookout and Danny the Dragon.

Chimes and Bells

Chimes and Bells
Ring in your celebration at Chimes and Bells. Located adjacent to the Pacific Fruit Express and the Redwood Lookout. The Chimes and Bells party area offers a spacious and chimed filled celebration.

Danny's Party Place
What has scales, castles, and adventure? Danny's Party Place of course. This party area is located next to Danny the Dragon ride and directly behind the Redwood Lookout. With three large trees providing shade, your party will be the coolest in the park.

Whistling Woods
Have your party in the great outdoors. Whistling Woods is centrally located in the Five Point Forest and directly across from the Redwood Lookout.

Sunflower Circle

Sunflower Circle
Bright and cheerful, Sunflower Circle is the perfect celebration spot. Enclosed by a white picket fence and decorated with colorful sunflowers, this party area is adjacent to the Puppet Castle Theater and Miners Maze.

Silly Celebration
Let you party go wild at Silly Celebration. Surrounded by red and yellow flags and colorful spinners, this party are will make any occasion festive. Silly Celebration is located next the Granny Bug Ride and Danny the Dragon.

Crooked House Meadow
The Crooked House Meadow is the perfect venue for your celebration and conveniently located near the Crooked House and the Zoo in the Hollow.

Key Policy Details:

  • No outside food will be permitted, other than cakes, inside the party areas.
  • The “Crooked House” party area is available for rent during all time slots for those customers purchasing the Simple Fun birthday package. Customers who purchase the Simple Fun birthday package during time slot 3 (3:00-5:00) may choose from all available party areas.
  • Customers purchasing rental areas will have access to party facilities 15 minutes before and after the party time to set and remove decorations. An area cleaning fee will be assessed if all decorations are not removed.
  • Ask a Guest Services Representative regarding additional fees that may apply.
 
 

Pricing & Fees:

  • Group minimum is 14
  • Guests have the option and based on availability to reserve multiple segments up to 2 weeks before their event. See Pricing.

 

Packages

Package 1 ("Simple Fun") - $235 / $8 per additional ticket

  • Includes 14 tickets, 2 hour area rental, Birthday ribbon for B-day Child, Party invitations
  • The “Crooked House” party area is available for rent during all time slots for those customers purchasing the Simple Fun birthday package. Customers who purchase the Simple Fun birthday package during time slot 3 (3:00-5:00) may choose from all available party areas.

Package 2 ("Danny's Favorite") - $315 / $16 per additional ticket

  • Includes all of the above plus Choice of food and juice. See standard food package.
  • This package may be purchased for all time slots at all rental areas.

Package 3 ("Extraordinary Celebration") - $455 / $25 per additional ticket

  • Includes all of the above plus goodie bags for 10 children, Danny the Dragon costume character visit with a gift for the birthday child.
  • This package may be purchased for all time slots at all rental areas.

Additional, more food will be supplied for each additional ticket purchase.

Refunds:

Cancellations 30 calendar days or more before scheduled party are fully refundable

  • $10 refund processing fee applies

Cancellations or refund request between 30 & 14 calendar days of the party:

  • Package price is refunded less $75 area rental fee & $10 refund processing fee ($85 total)

Cancellations or refund request within 14 calendar days or on the day of the party

  • No food refund
  • No area rental refund
  • Only tickets are refundable at $8.00 rate
  • $10 refund processing fee applies
 

Reservations and Booking:

  • 1. Entire minimum package must be paid for at time of booking. Additional tickets may be purchased up to the event day.
  • 2. Party reservations can be made at any time based on area availability. Some celebration elements may not be available if booked within two weeks.
 

Will Call:

Tickets may be left for party guest at the will call window. Customers must provide name person(s) picking up tickets and number of tickets reserved for that person. Those picking up tickets must have show picture ID. Only the number of ticket reserved for the name provide will be handed out. Each receiving party will be required to sign for the tickets received.

If there are insufficient number tickets to cover an invited group arriving for the party. The customer may choose one of two options.

  • 1. Request that Guest Services provide additional ticket(s) to party and charge them to the customer's credit card at the predetermined rate. (This option must be pre-arranged with the customer through Guest Services prior to the day of the Party. The customer may set a ticket limit for any additional ticket(s) sold.)

OR

  • 2. The invited guest may purchase additional ticket(s) at the pre-determined rate.

If there are extra tickets remaining upon completion of the party, they will be returned to the party client who may decide to keep them for use at a later time or refund them at $8 per ticket; $10 refund processing fee would apply.

 

Parking:

Pre-purchased non-refundable parking tickets may be purchased. These tickets can not be held at will call and must be distributed by the customer. Call Guest Service for more details and pricing.
